Small, recent, and picky about tutors.
Volare was founded in September 2025 and has five tutors. We'd rather tell you that plainly than imply we're bigger than we are — because the thing that decides whether tutoring works is the individual tutor, and at our size we know every one of them.
Tutors who sat these papers recently
Our tutors hold places at Imperial, Oxford and Cambridge. They sat the same GCSEs, A Levels and admissions tests your child is sitting — recently enough to remember what the examiner wanted, not just what the textbook says.
Every tutor is interviewed before they teach
A good degree isn't evidence that someone can teach. We interview every tutor before they take a student, and we match them by subject, exam board and year group rather than assigning them from a general pool.
Online, one to one, written up afterwards
Lessons are one-to-one over video. After each one your tutor writes up what was covered and what to practise, so you can see where your child actually is rather than taking our word for it.
From £30 an hour, no minimum commitment
Book a single session or a full term and stop whenever you need to. The first conversation is free, and if the tutor isn't the right fit we'll match a different one at no cost.
Since September 2025.
Every one of these is a number we can show our working for. The method is on the testimonials page.
The first conversation is free.
Tell us the subject, the year group and where the difficulty sits, and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right people for it.
